Matthew 5:27-32
Inspired thots:
1) God is more concerned about the sanctity of the SOUL than the BODY… probably we’ll get a NEW body… but the soul… must be the only one we have. Yea, God looks at our hearts and judges our thoughts which prompt our words and actions. Hmmm.. the heart > the mind > words > actions. Check the ‘control center’ (heart)
2) But Lord, I want ‘all’. I want to keep my physical… so working backwards, I must ensure my Soul is aligned with God’s word FIRST.
3) God is faithful always (2 Tim 2:13)… No wonder He wants the same of His people; not to be sexually desirous of more than one. Whether adultery or divorce, God intends us to be content or satisfied (?) with just ONE.
4) It’s a RELATIONSHIP issue. A deep, intense, tightly bonded relationship between 2 persons. Can there not be more than one, minus the sexual aspect, among man?
A daily time out with the Lord Jesus, to hear Him speak to ME. I am asking the Lord to share HIS thoughts with ME, to teach me more about Himself, and how I can be drawn closer to Him... for 'His thoughts are not my thoughts and neither are His ways my ways' Isaiah 55:8,9. This blog is not a theological exegesis. This blog is to record down the INSIGHTS & INSPIRATIONS of God's Word to me; speaking LIFE into my life for Abundant life! :)
