To the one in love, there is no other who can match the loved one. Everything about the beloved is enticing and captivating; engrossing one another that reflects dedication. How happy when two can be united having found each other? They can spend their lifetime together enjoying work and pleasure.
Isn't it so with God? How precious are moments with Him for inspiration and revelation that one can draw closer and enjoy life to its fullest! Praise You, Heavenly Father for Your Great Love; indeed, I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine. (v3) Thank you, Lord! Help me to appreciate You more and more each day with no idol in any kind.
A daily time out with the Lord Jesus, to hear Him speak to ME. I am asking the Lord to share HIS thoughts with ME, to teach me more about Himself, and how I can be drawn closer to Him... for 'His thoughts are not my thoughts and neither are His ways my ways' Isaiah 55:8,9.
