v10 Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God?
Am I trying to PLEASE Man?
Man is a creature of relationships. He is not made to be alone. Hence, his very nature draws him to others, for their approval; so much so that he puts God aside.
I am to SEEK to PLEASE GOD; to win God's approval,
When one obeys God, others will praise Him because of the one.
There is no need to CONSULT man what God has revealed to you personally. (v16)
