Knowledge Precedes Action

Matthew 13

Inspired thots

Jesus taught the people a lot in parables; He did actually revealed a lot of kingdom values and information to the disciples and the crowd but only those who believed could understand. Even the disciples could not understand all the parables until Jesus explained.

With every explanation, there must be an acceptance of the Word revealed.
With every revelation, there must be action on the knowledge embraced.

Otherwise, it is a case of ever seeing but never perceiving; ever hearing but never understanding.

The purpose of heavenly revelations is to understand with the Heart and Turn to Jesus for Total Healing.
And once enlightened, one moves on to self-cleansing - like springcleaning (v52). The inner man must be set in order for the Lord - getting rid of the old and unclean while treasuring the new and valuable only.

On the other hand, a lack of faith brings on offense. And that is the real stumbling block to eternity.
