The World has so much to offer... through the Internet, I can obtain all sorts of information and ideas that can occupy my time. It can crowd out my faith and dedication to God; but if like the disciples, Peter, James and John who were always close to Jesus and experienced His glory, so would I be informed of Jesus' glory and greatness if I spend more time with Him.
Like Jesus said, "Elijah has already come, but they did not recognize him:"; they missed the boat. How about me on the things of God and His will if I am not alert?
Jesus will supply needful worldly things; I need to be close to Jesus to hear His bidding. Although a child of God with exemptions, sometimes it is a testimony to put aside the exemptions and be like the commoner. There are so many who do not know the Lord yet; they are bogged down with worldly issues because they do not know the real issue.
A daily time out with the Lord Jesus, to hear Him speak to ME. I am asking the Lord to share HIS thoughts with ME, to teach me more about Himself, and how I can be drawn closer to Him... for 'His thoughts are not my thoughts and neither are His ways my ways' Isaiah 55:8,9. This blog is not a theological exegesis. This blog is to record down the INSIGHTS & INSPIRATIONS of God's Word to me; speaking LIFE into my life for Abundant life! :)
