1) False doctrines
2) Myths
3) endless genealogies

These promote Controversies... do not be engaged into these.
Bottom line should be L O V E
~ out of pure heart, good conscience, sincere faith

All these are Meaningless talk.
Guard against:
not knowing what is taught so passionately. v7

v12 ~ God considers me faithful, appointing me to his service.
~ all due to mercy and grace.

Purpose:
Fight the GOOD fight ~ v18 (2 Tim. 4:7)
Hold on to Faith & Good Conscience
